Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! I have been blogging for years, but for other people and companies. I never really took the time to blog for myself, but I’ve decided to change that. I have a lot of plans for 2012 and this is just the beginning. I hope you’ll enjoy reading my thoughts, opinions and musings on writing, technology, pop culture, the freelance life, and the world around me.

I live and work in New York City and love the city life, but I’m also a country girl at heart. I am an avid gardener (as much as one can be in the city) and I enjoy cooking, gadgets, technology and pretty eclectic mix of interests. I’m self-employed as a freelance writer, editor and social media manager. I enjoy the variety and learning experiences have brought me. I love to travel, am organizing a convention for a popular 70’s television series, and I  have the incredible good fortune to call an actor who was my childhood hero my dear friend. This September he and his castmates will reunite in Los Angeles to celebrate the show’s 35th Anniversary and raise money for some very good causes. The entire cast hasn’t been together for over 30 years and guess who’s in charge of the whole shebang? Yours truly! More on those adventures coming soon!
